Fortnum and Mason’s Frosty Affair

F&M Xmas 2014-1-A09A5467

This year, the Angel or Santa Claus were nowhere to be seen in the

Fortnum & Mason’s window.    Instead, said to be a Frosty Affair there.

—– I didn’t go deep into their financial affair, whether Frosty Affair was

the cause of it or the result.  = anyhow, it was the show window of the products

what they are selling with a lots of snow splay. —– and the additional

clear plastic stick = meant to be icicles.    M m m, is that’s all  ?   🙂

Many people came down to take picture, was saying  “Disappointed”   😦

Can’t compare, but interesting to see how others try to imitate snow and ice.

Good, snow will make up the world all in virgin white.
(So, in this instance, lets forget the dirt underneath. 😀 )

Nirvana is samsara and vice versa in the ultimate world, in real world the snow does cover some “dirt”; isn’t white the “color” of death in some cultures? For example, China, Japan ….? Cheers. Wanda

Samsara is hinduism, not Shakyamuni’s idea.
As there is No Self to be reincarnated, the physical
death is the whole end = Nirvana.
As everything exists in relation, when the body die, the mind, spirit also cease to exists.
              This was Shakyamuni’s original teachings.
(My blog is all about this argument. 😀 )

In Japan, Black and White stripe is definitely for
funeral and Red and White is for celebration =
so, white alone is neither good or bad but it indicates

I like it “clean” and black indicates?
Endless round of rebirths (i.e., samsara) is mentioned in Dhammapada…….

Even on the oldest scripture, Agama or Nikaya,
which was written down the oral tradition, the
person WHO wrote it was a Sanskrit Priest, only the
people who could write and read then. Naturally, they
wrote the scripture as they think right (mean, the
Atman = perpetual soul exists = hence Reincarnates).
Most of So-called Buddhism is in fact Hindu or Tantra not Genuine Buddhism.
Think, why Shakyamuni’s sanga had no Cast ?
= Cast IS Hinduism which Buddha hated.

Hate is such a powerful word and feeling, how do you know all of it? what did historical Buddha feel? Genuine Buddhism, which one is that? To many opinions flying in the virtual world, what do you feel with your heart? Love and compassion to me, to you my friend and to the whole world and the sangha. Good weekend yoshizen. We all have seeds of Buddha/Buddhahood within us. Tantra, Hinayana, Theravada, Zen, Buddhism, No-Buddhism, Islam, Hinduism, Atman believers, no- Atman believers. At the end we are all one. Wanda

Check the Buddhism history from the Hinduism History as well. (Hindu think Shakyamuni as one of their Guru) Reconstruct Buddhism theory from the core which was common in any sect. Such as No-self / Void, Inter-dependency = Karma, Absolute non-permanence —– from those Teachings based on Anatman (Non-atman) how the idea of Samsara could be fabricated ? You may think, there is a mind called LOVE or Compassion though, Mind is a delusion. As there is No atman, No Mind = No Self = No Preconception = Void, as Dharma is = everything everybody can be in the same ground, holding one (same) Dharma. This is the Compassion.

Everything in the cosmos has come together to bring you to this point. What, who thought it, analyze it, gathered it and wrote it? On a relative and on an absolute level?
Pratityasamutpada (or “dependent origination” or “dependent arising” or “interdependent co-arising”)- wonderful observation !!!!
Would you “kill” someone who does not share and follow your beliefs, let’s say : the idea of anatman vs atman. It is fortunate (good and bad) that the Buddha did not put so many restrictions on his teachings, creating one of the very few open systems of thought and belief. Compassion helps us connect to our own suffering and the suffering of others.
Compassion “introduces us to a far larger view of reality.” This larger view is seen by the two eyes of wisdom and compassion. Beauty through diversity, if the whole world turned Buddhist……..? A blessing and a curse, the strength and the weakness of this life lies in diversity? All I know is to be aware of dogmas and -isms. We never know, a Muslim being may prove to be a friend than the Hindu one or the Buddhist or Christian. Wisdom and compassion are not limited solely to one group. Before we get to Anatman there is a lot of samsara. It happens to me, after all we are all human beings, sentient beings. But it looks like you are behind all of it on your path to a complete enlightenment. I am happy with you and for you. I still have to do some work and. It is a never ending miracle of living in the Universe for me. Cheers. Wanda 🙂
